Finding Balance Between Health, Life and Posting!
I recently had a lil chat with "The Internet" about being away from posting to try to find some semblance of balance in my life.
INTERNET: Psst! Dr. Tonia! Are you there? Where have you been?
DR. TONIA: The truth is, I've been prioritizing rest, nature, and making art.
INTERNET: Why?
DR. TONIA: Because I noticed signs of burnout and needed a break. Also... I'm honestly overwhelmed by AI. It makes me feel uneasy, not knowing if what I was seeing was real or just a snippet of code.
So I stepped back from social media for my own well-being. I even downloaded an app that encourages me to stay off my phone, cutting my screen time from six hours to less than an hour and a half a day. That's a massive change!
I've been focusing on habits that will improve my long-term health and wellness.
Am I committed to posting every day? No, I'm not. But I'll post when I feel moved to do so. If it helps you, great; if not, that's fine too.
I know my brand of crazy isn't for everyone.
I'm still here in Nanaimo, helping people with their nutrient and remedy needs. I'm dolling out nutrient IVs, iron infusions, mistletoe injections for osteoarthritis, and other treatments for pain relief and healing.
If any of that sounds helpful to you, look me up, I'm happy to help at nanaimoivtherapy.com.
Thanks for being here. I’m Dr. Tonia Winchester, a Nanaimo Naturopathic Doctor, and certified IV nutrient therapist. This is all taking place at Knead Therapy in Nanaimo, BC, central Vancouver Island.
